Privacy
A short, plain explanation of what this site does with your data and the rights you have. The person responsible for this site is named in the Imprint.
Booking form
If you use the booking form, the name, email and message you enter are sent to us by email so we can reply. The legal basis is your consent and handling your request (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). We keep these messages only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, then delete them. They are not used for marketing or shared with anyone else.
Server logs and audio
The site is served as static files. Our hosting provider may briefly log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and time of access, to keep the site secure and working (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Audio, images and video are delivered through a media host (Cloudinary), which receives your IP address in order to deliver the files. Music links open external services such as Spotify and Apple Music, each with its own privacy policy.
Videos (YouTube)
Live videos are embedded via YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) in its enhanced privacy mode (“youtube-nocookie.com”). Thumbnails are loaded from YouTube’s servers; the video player itself is only loaded once you interact with the page or start playback. This transfers your IP address to Google, and YouTube may store information in your browser. A transfer to the USA is possible and is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google is certified. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting the live performances (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); playback only ever starts after an active click. You can read more in Google’s Privacy Policy.
Fonts (Google Fonts)
For its typography, this site loads the “Syne” and “Space Grotesk” typefaces via Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.). This transfers your IP address to Google so the font files can be delivered; a transfer to the USA is possible and is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google is certified. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a consistent, fast-loading presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can read more in Google’s Privacy Policy.
Cookies and advertising (Meta Pixel)
This site uses the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. so we can run and measure advertising on Facebook and Instagram. The pixel uses cookies and similar technologies to see which ads brought people to the site, to measure how well those ads perform, and to show relevant ads to people who have already visited (retargeting). It may collect data such as your IP address, browser and device details, and the pages and actions you take here. This data is used only for our Meta advertising. It is not used for any other purpose, sold, or shared with anyone else.
We load the Meta Pixel only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and you can withdraw that consent at any time through the cookie settings on this site, your browser, or your ad preferences on Facebook and Instagram. Aside from the Meta Pixel, this site sets no tracking cookies. Tracking may not be active at all times; this policy covers it so it is ready whenever campaigns run.
Sharing and international transfers
When the pixel is active, the data above is shared with Meta, which acts as joint controller for that step. Meta may also transfer data to the USA. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Meta is certified, together with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as a further safeguard. You can read how Meta uses this data in Meta's Privacy Policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these, email booking@betonwatte.com. You also have the right to complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at).
